Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Forklift Driver

Rapid-Line a leading metal fabrication and innovative manufacturing company is seeking to add to our growing team. We are currently interviewing for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our 1st Shift. 1st Shift hours are: Monday -- Thursday: 6:00 am -- 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in setting up shipping and receiving area layout, to aid in becoming more organized

• Notify the Plant Manager or Supervisor of any delays affecting the daily job schedule

• Primary communication link with Customer Service

• Solicit requisitions, materials, supplies, and tools necessary

• Responsible for doing or assigning the unloading of steel and other delivery trucks as needed along with the distribution and stocking as required

• Insure that material and parts are received and accurately measured or counted

• Insuring the received parts/material corresponds to the ordered slips, if not, notify quality control and purchasing agent

• Process paperwork for the proper receipt and corresponding invoicing or the material

• Assign proper location of all material and maintaining the integrity of the locations, storing material in neat and orderly manner

• Responsible in performing with accuracy the job issuing and closing of shop orders in a timely manner, along with filing of job orders per procedure

• Able to lift heavy objects

• Must be able to obtain hilo license, load and unload trailers

• Work directly with specific customers as specified by Customer Service Manager
